Department of Agriculture’s Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries recently celebrated their 5tastic years in service!

Part of their weeklong celebration included a Vision Board Party for its employees, giving priorities to the elderly and persons with disability.

The idea of having this new approach as their main activity came about when one of their employees, Jezzy, attended the same workshop early this year at The Parenting Emporium. She expressed that she wanted the same experiences on self- discovery, positivity and high energy ambiance to be given to the people in her office.

The Vision Board Party was done in 2 sessions and employees from different departments were given premium materials to craft their masterpiece. The agency’s Chiefs, Acting Chief Julieta Opulencia of the Policy Development and Coordination Division and Chief Estrella V. Tulay of
Planning, Monitoring and Knowledge Management Division attended the whole workshop as participants. Their Executive Director Sarah Gutierrez – Cayona, did not just drop by but stayed for a few hours to experience the fun!

The PCAF employees were all out during the morning session!

The party was made complete with a simple cake! Joining PCAF’s 5tastic anniversary are the June and July birthday celebrants!

PCAF’s PMKMD Chief Estrella “Star” Tulay in her improvised     Wonderwoman costume was one of the most engaged participants who gamely shared not just her personal vision but her vision for the whole Division.

One of the participants commented: “I like the positive ambiance and the sustained energy!”

“It is well executed, not boring and it inspires and ignites the dreams/ visions that can be fulfilled,” said one of the senior participants.

Evidently, people from this agency knows how to value their time, resources and themselves.

The superheroes were so into it, they barely had time to eat.

Asked what they liked best about the workshop, a millennial in the afternoon session wrote, “It was the feeling of positivity that surrounds the room and radiates to everyone. It’s good to know that its never too late for a dream to come into reality!”

“It is a good tool to re-energize PCAF personnel and redirect their energies to more productive endeavors both personal and official,” said a more experienced employee.

On the photo is Executive Director Sarah Gutierrez-Cayona in her opening remarks. ED Cayona stayed for a few hours to participate in the AM session. After the workshop, employees expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the agency.

The day ended with so much joy, positivity and happiness! The new batches of Vision Board Advocates committed to supporting one another in living happier, healthier and wealthier lives!
